Favor Celestial is a 501(c)3 Community Economic Development Initiative established for the residents of Barrio Kroeger Lane. Our mission is to create a collaborative community structure that will show appreciation for the land, the river, the mountain, the animals in our environment, and to preserve the cultural heritage of the area.

Our Elders

Favor Celestial plays a pivotal role in renovating the homes of our low-income seniors, and assists in acquiring vacant lots for generational family housing.

Our Culture

 Favor Celestial works to preserve the O'odham and Mexican American farm heritage that has defined our area for centuries.

Our Children

Favor Celestial provides financial and volunteer support for family/children self-interest projects and programs.  

Our Land

Continuously habited for over four-thousand years, Favor Celestial was critical to the creation of a contemporary community garden and assists in its management through educating families in how to grow their own food for a healthy diet. 

OUR GOAL

To perpetuate the heritage of Barrio Kroeger Lane and convert the neighborhood into a self-sustaining, historic Barrio of interest for its residents, the Tucson community at large, and Tucson visitors.​
